The H-type electrochemical cell comprises two types: the H-type replaceable ion-exchange membrane electrolytic cell and the H-type glass filter element electrolytic cell. The H-type replaceable ion-exchange membrane electrolytic cell is a three-electrode electrochemical reaction cell with a double-chamber design, and is suitable for electrochemical experimental tests in which the anode and cathode electrolytes are incompatible or not suitable for mixing, such as CO2RR, NRR, and other tests. If the experiment requires a specific gas atmosphere or an oxygen-free environment, a sealed electrolytic cell equipped with air inlet and outlet pipes must be used.

The H-type replaceable ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer is composed of a working electrode chamber and a counter electrode chamber. The two chambers are separated by ion-exchange membranes (provided by the user), and stainless steel clips are used for rapid membrane change. The reference electrode and the working electrode are in the same chamber, which effectively reduces the R drop. The electrochemical cell can be quickly assembled and disassembled for easy cleaning. The lower glass tank body can also be customized into a double-jacketed glass type according to the temperature control requirements. It is connected to the outer tank body through the hose of a peristaltic pump or a circulating pump. The liquid circulates in the glass jacket layer, relying on heat and cold. Exchange to achieve the effect of cooling or heating the electrolyte solution.

The volume of the electrolytic cell should be selected moderately. If the volume is too large, the amount of solution will be too much, which is unnecessary. During electrochemical measurement, the electrode surface undergoes oxidation and reduction reactions, and some substances in the solution are reduced by participating in the electrode reaction. At the same time, some reaction products will dissolve into the solution. If the volume of the electrolytic cell is too small, the solution concentration will change significantly during the long-term steady-state measurement, which will eventually affect the experimental results. There are four types of H-type replaceable membrane sealed electrolytic cell: 20ml, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml, the difference is as follows:
